I almost didn't purchase but seeing other reviews decided to give it a shot. Installing was easy but was disappointed s&w had such a small screw retaining the grip in place. The 460 has considerable recoil and this grip makes a large lever. But, it fits securely in place and handles (pun intended) the recoil superbly. Using both hands to help handle the weight helps considerably and when I put the scope on for hunting it'll help even more. Now i have to find a nice holster to carry with it.
